Soul Step Records Announces SSR-106!

Soul Step Records is proud to announce the latest 45 single release with a brand new artist to the label. Based out of Atlanta, please welcome Desmond Myers.

We will be releasing one of our favorite singles from Desmond called “Intuition” for the A-Side, along with a brand new single on the flip, “One Call Away.” Those who purchase the 45 will have exclusive access to hearing the song before it hits DSP’s later this Summer.

Desmond Myers is a singer-songwriter and producer based in Atlanta, Georgia.

His music is bolstered by a smooth understated tenor voice and moody. colorful arrangements with earnest lyrics.

He takes inspiration from bands of the classic rock era such as The Beatles and The Beach Boys as well as modern indie acts such as L'imperatrice and Tame Impala.

Desmond began writing songs at a young age and met German producer Nicolas Balachandran while performing at The Evening Muse in Charlotte, NC. Balachandran signed him to a small record label in based in Regensburs, Germany while Desmond was still in high school. Spending his early adult years traveling and performing across Europe, he eventually settled in Paris and joind the French band Her on the road as a guitarist and keyboardist before returning to the states to settle in Atlanta, GA.

Soul Step Records will be releasing “Intuition / One Call Away” exclusively to Soul Step Subscribers on Saturday, May 31st at 1PM EST. General Public will have access on Monday, June 2nd.
