Soul Step Announces SSR-109

Soul Step welcomes back to the label the renowned powerhouse vocalist and Soul/R&B artist Alanna Royale who has released her ambitious new visual and musical release, "30 Minutes of Revolution."

Captured live in a single-take continuous performance, the project presents a 30-minute uninterrupted journey through classic and contemporary soul, R&B, and protest anthems that directly confront social injustice, human rights, and systemic struggle.

Arranged Ray Jacildo, 30 Minutes of Revolution weaves together timeless tracks—such as Stevie Wonder’s "You Haven't Done Nothin'" and The Temptations' "Ball of Confusion"—into a cohesive, raw, and unfiltered musical tapestry.

"Artists have been shouting these messages for decades, and sadly, they are just as relevant today as when they were first written," says Royale. "Their memory lives on, and the fight for justice continues. I wanted to capture the urgency of these songs in a way that couldn’t be edited down or smoothed over—just one raw take, straight from the heart."

When Alanna approached Soul Step Records about the project they quickly aligned on bringing to life a very limited and DIY one-time vinyl pressing that also needed a charitable aspect. We will have 300 Random Color vinyl that will release to Soul Step Subscribers on Friday, October 23rd. Each vinyl will come in a jacket where the art was handmade and crafted by Alanna Royale herself with an additional sticker that was designed by Caroline Bowman.

We also will have two special vinyl that have jackets specifically designed by local Nashville artists Doom Beast and Lizzie Carsell with proceeds being donated to Equity Alliance of Nashville.

Soul Step Subscribers will have the first crack at obtaining one of the limited vinyl on Friday, October 23rd.
