Hifi Cookies and Soul Step Records Partner to Launch the "Bakers Series" Supporting Nashville Independent Artists

Local independent businesses HIFI Cookies and Soul Step Records have joined forces to launch the Bakers Series, a new collaborative platform designed to celebrate and elevate Nashville’s independent music community.

While Nashville is world-renowned for its music scene, emerging talent often lacks the local industry infrastructure. We look to have the Bakers Series bridge this gap by selecting standout up-and-coming artists and offering them multi-channel exposure at zero cost to the musician.

Each installment of the series features three distinct components:

• Live Performance: Artists film an intimate, "Tiny Desk"-style session inside Hifi’s bakery, broadcast on YouTube.

• Custom Cookie Collaboration: Known for music-inspired baked goods, Hifi Cookies works side-by-side with each artist to design and release a signature custom cookie.

• Physical Release: Soul Step Records fully funds and manufactures a limited-run 7-inch 45 RPM vinyl single for the artist.

By combining visual content, physical media, and culinary artistry, Hifi Cookies and Soul Step Records aim to bring the best of Nashville’s food and music to the forefront by highlighting the rich diversity of sounds and styles shaping the future of Music City.
